North Korea's state-sponsored hacking collective, known as Lazarus Group and Hidden Cobra, has evolved its malware deployment strategy beyond fake developer job postings. The group, responsible for some of the largest cryptocurrency heists in history, now targets a broader range of roles including cryptocurrency traders, marketing personnel at Web3 firms, and even staff at U.S. e-commerce companies.

The updated 'ClickFix' variant continues to use social engineering tactics, luring victims with fake job opportunities before delivering malware through disguised terminal commands. This shift demonstrates the group's adaptability in exploiting human vulnerabilities to compromise sensitive data and steal digital assets.
